Some of you may already know about my passion for vintage toys. And toy cars are a big part of that (I managed to crowbar Scalextric/slot cars into a story in the ‘King Tank Girl book). I’m a real bore about it - I love the manufacturing processes, the advertising, and especially the packaging.
Recently we released a limited amount of custom carded toy cars under our “ActionBox” label, and today we launch the second wave. We’ll be offering two new cars - Booga’s 1970 Opel Kadett, and Tank Girl’s 1970 Ford Ranchero. These take a lot of time to put together, so numbers are very limited.
Launching at 11am GMT today (Friday 24th November).
We’ve also finally gotten around to packaging up the remaining model kits for our Jet Girl Air Group “ActionFix” model range, last seen this time last year. Again, limited numbers.
The Official Tank Girl Store is now extremely swole, ready for Christmas, so come and have a jumble - there are long lost treasures and artefacts lurking deep in the different departments, and we’ll continue to add things until will close the doors for the holidays.
Thanks for your support. All of this this keeps me afloat while I write more stories, which is starting to happen again after an extended dry period (more on that soon).
