It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas (pudding)...
Or... why your order from the Tank Girl Shop smells like nutmeg and Bramley apple...

I always hate to jump the gun on mentioning Christmas - “Don’t fire until you see the whites of their snowballs,” is my usual motto. This was gonna be a post about getting your orders into the Tank Girl Store early for Christmas because postal strikes/more postal traffic/we get more orders around this time etc., etc., blah, yeah, and on, but then I thought I would talk about the other vanguard of Christmas-yet-to-come - PUDDINGS.
In a saucepan on the stove in our office/studio today is this year’s Christmas Pudding - I alway make it a month in advance, so that I can work plenty of brandy into it, and I can stick up on top of the fridge (where it can “Vout for while,” as Slim Gaillard would say). This guy has to steam in its pot for a full eight hours, and, what with gas prices being so Soviet right now, we’re making best use of our off-grid heat source.
I’ve been using the BBC’S Classic Christmas Pudding Recipe for years (with a few gluten-free, lactose-free, lower-sugar twists), it’s simple and always works a treat. I never skip on the brandy though, it needs way more than the recipe prescribes.
So, if you open up your order and smell nutmeg, almonds, dried fruit, and brandy, you’ll know why - it’s all part of the authentic pudding experience from our Christmas Workshop, here on the Borders of Scotland.
Later this week we hope to be adding some more Jet Girl Jets Models to the Tank Girl Store, meanwhile (STILL lots of request for more of these!), we still have a couple of signed copies of the ‘King Tank Girl 1st Edition, and the Blakey and TG Colour Classics Poster Magazines.
Back with some news soon!

So what’s it going to take for a person to get an ugly Chanukah Christmas tank girl sweater around here?
Yum. The big question is dya eat it with custard, or are you one of those Christmas pervs? Love ya too.
